This introductory course is designed for anyone with a keen interest on gaining an understanding of growing, nurturing and supporting our pollinators by creating a pollinator friendly flower border. At the end of this you will understand the principles of sowing, growing through the seasons and what are good and bad flowers.
This is a fun and interactive course where participants will learn about planting up a pollinator friendly flower border and how to provide an uninterrupted food supply all through the year in their own garden. We focus on the importance of your soil health as this directly relates to the health and wellbeing of your pollinators.
Sample borders for the home garden are on site.
Starter plants will be available to purchase on the day subject to availability.
As part of this course you will get to harvest genuine pollinator friendly seeds to take home with you.
